Jujutsu Kaisen – Manga will have 60 million copies circulating in December

Publisher Shueisha reported that as of the release of the 18th volume of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga on December 25, it will have 60 million copies in circulation (including printed and digital copies, as well as copies not yet sold).

The manga's circulation has increased by 710% in the past 15 months since the anime in October 2020 .

Synopsis

Suffering, regret, shame: humans' negative feelings become Curses, causing terrible accidents that can even lead to death. And to make matters worse, Curses can only be exorcised by other Curses. One day, to save friends who were being attacked by Curses, Yuji Itadori swallows Ryomen-Sukuna's finger, absorbing his Curse. He then decides to enroll in the Tokyo Technical College of Sorcery, an organization that fights Curses... and so begins the heroic legend of the boy who became a Curse to exorcise a Curse.

Author Gege Akutami launched the Jujutsu Kaisen manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018.
