Therefore, the giant monster anime will premiere in the April season of this year in Japan, as well as on Crunchyroll's streaming services. Furthermore, the trailer features the opening theme song 'Abyss' performed by the group YUNGBLUD and the ending theme song 'Nobody' by the band OneRepublic.

Synopsis:
Japan has the highest rate of monster sightings in the world, suffering invasions every day. In the past, Kafka Hibino aspired to be part of the Defense Forces, but currently works for a company specializing in cleaning up the remnants of battles fought with monsters. One day, the young man's body is transformed by a mysterious creature, and he receives the codename "Kaiju No. 8" from the Japan Self-Defense Forces, the organization responsible for subduing the monsters!
Therefore, Naoya Matsumoto launched the Kaiju No. 8 manga in July 2020 on Shueisha 's Shonen Jump+ website . Since then, the manga has been released every two weeks on the website and on the MANGA Plus app , where all its chapters are available for free, but only in English.
