Synopsis
Dariel, a dark soldier in the demon king's army who cannot use magic, rose to the position of assistant to the Four Generals thanks to his talent and energy, and has been honing his skills. However, as soon as the Four Generals are replaced, Dariel is dismissed from the army. Dariel is devastated, but when he arrives at a human village, he discovers that his adventuring skills, supposedly useless to demons, have blossomed! 'I was… human?' “Kaiko Sareta” is a series light novel written by Rokujuuyon Okazawa and illustrated by Sage Joh. It was serialized online through the novel publishing website “Shousetsuka ni Narou” from November 2018 to July 2020. It was later acquired by Kodansha, which has published three volumes since August 2019 under its Kodansha Ranobe Books imprint.
A manga adaptation was serialized in Young Magazine from August 2019 to April 2021, and transferred to Monthly Young Magazine in May 2021.
