A new trailer for the film Kaina of the Great Snow Sea (Oyukiumi no Kaina : Hoshi no Kenja) has been revealed on the official website. According to reports, the film will premiere on October 13th of this year.

Kaina of the Great Snow Sea premiered on Fuji TV's Ultra+ block in Japan on January 12th.

Synopsis
The story takes place in a world where the earth is being swallowed by the Great Snow Sea. Humanity makes a living above the Tenmaku (a pun on the Japanese word for tent) that stretches from the roots to the top of gigantic orbital trees. The story centers on Kaina, a boy who lives above the Tenmaku, and Liliha, the princess of the small country of Atland in the Great Snow Sea.
Therefore, the anime celebrates the 40th anniversary of Polygon Pictures. Furthermore, the manga version of the story was launched in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in February 2022.
