The anime Kill Blue has had its second season confirmed shortly after the airing of the first season's final episode. The news was released by the series' team this Saturday, accompanied by a commemorative illustration created by the author himself, Tadatoshi Fujimaki, known for his work on Kuroko's Basketball.

The adaptation follows Juzo Ogami, a legendary professional assassin whose life is turned upside down after waking up in the body of a teenager. To discover the origin of his transformation, he must return to an environment he never imagined revisiting: school. The combination of action, comedy, and school life helped the work gain a foothold among recent releases from Weekly Shonen Jump.

Finally, the South Korean group aespa performed the opening theme “ATTITUDE”, while RIIZE was responsible for the closing theme “KILL SHOT” by Kill Blue.
