Kimetsu no Yaiba is the new anime from studio Ufotable!

My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

It has been revealed that the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba, based on the work of author Koyoharu Gotouge, will be produced by the studio Ufotable. It appears that the entire animation process will be handled by the same studio that worked on seasons such as Fate/Zero.

Therefore, in May, the Kimetsu no Yaiba manga received the green light for the production of a series.

What to expect from Kimetsu no Yaiba?

Since ancient times, rumors abound of man-eating demons lurking in the forest. Because of this, the locals never venture outside at night. Legend says that a demon slayer also roams the night, hunting these bloodthirsty demons. For young Tanjiro, these rumors will soon become his harsh reality…

Since his father's death, Tanjiro has taken on the responsibility of supporting his family. Although their lives may be hardened by tragedy, they have found happiness. But this fleeting warmth is shattered one day when Tanjiro discovers that his family has been murdered and that the only survivor, his sister Nezuko, has transformed into a demon. To his surprise, however, Nezuko still shows signs of human emotion and consciousness… Thus begins Tanjiro's journey to fight demons and turn his sister back into a human.

Finally, Gotouge himself commented that it would be a serious problem for ufotable due to its art style, but the studio is ahead of schedule with production and making a great anime.
