Set in Japan during the Taishō Period , the story revolves around Tanjiro Kamado, a kind and intelligent boy who lives with his mother and brothers, earning money selling coal, just like his late father. One day, upon returning home After going to a city to sell coal, Tanjiro discovers that his entire family had been attacked by demons, with one of his sisters, Nezuko, being the only one who survived the attack. Nezuko then becomes a demon, but she surprisingly still shows signs of human emotions and thoughts.
