Fuji TV's broadcast of the film Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train that the second season of the anime will premiere on December 5th , with the first episode being a one-hour special .
Miyuki Sawashiro will join the cast to voice the character Daki .
Additionally, the Mugen Train arc will have a seven-episode version , including an all-new first episode, which will premiere on October 10th . The first episode follows Rengoku as he embarks on his journey to reach the train. The remaining episodes will add approximately 70 new animation cuts and new background music.
Singer LiSA will contribute the opening song " Akeboshi " and the ending song " Shirogane " to the Mugen Train , while singer Aimer will contribute the opening song " Zankyou Sanka " and the ending song " Asa ga Kuru " to the second season . Both arcs will be available in over 90 countries and territories.
The new season covers the “ Entertainment District Arc ,” and continues the story from the Mugen Train movie with Tanjirou and the others taking on their next mission.
