Starting with the arrival of Tengen Uzui
Uzui goes in search of volunteers to help solve a series of disappearances occurring in the Light District arc. Initially, he decides to take Aoi Kanzaki and one of the girls who works as a maid at the Butterfly Mansion, the home of Shinobu Kocho and Kanao.
But everything changes when Tanjiro decides to go to their place, along with Inosuke and Zenitsu.
Arrival at the Red Light District
Thus, determined to complete the mission, Uzui explains that he is looking for his three missing wives, and so he devises a different plan for the three of them: to enter the Tokito, Ogimoto, and Kyogoku houses disguised as women
Investigating suspicious houses
After being placed in their respective homes, strange events began to occur, and Inosuke was the first to suspect something. Soon, letters were revealed that were being sent by Makio, one of Uzui's wives who was being held prisoner.
Finally, the villain of this season is revealed... or not...
Following this, as the anime's story progresses, Daki is finally revealed to the audience. She belongs to Muzan's group of 12 demons, holding the rank of Upper Moon 6. After transforming into an oni, she began living in the Red Light District, punishing geishas and inflicting pain on women as a way of avenging past suffering.
The fight begins with Tanjiro
Soon after becoming suspicious of Zenitsu's disappearance, Tanjiro meets with Inozuke to share information. Inozuke then reveals that it's about a superior Onin and decides to act alone. Without hesitation, Tanjiro continues his search and ends up finding Daki, whom he decides to confront one-on-one.
Uzui's wives saved
While the fight between Daki and Tanjiro is happening, Zenitsu ends up being found by Inozuke in the villain Daki's traps, where they both manage to rescue Uzui's wives. Finally, Uzui arrives as the icing on the cake, showing what he's made of.
Tanjiro's Awakening
Gradually understanding how his breathing works, Tanjiro believes he can defeat Daki and charges forward, only to be woken up by his sister asking him to breathe again.
A monster kept under lock and key
Just as Daki is about to kill him, Nezuko wakes up determined to use all her powers to defend her brother. She shows that she is on a level ahead of Daki and faces her calmly, until Izui arrives. Therefore, Tanjiro decides to block her powers again by singing the cansanction to make her fall asleep.
Gyutaro is his name
With the revelation of Daki's secret, Gyutaro decides to appear and join the fight to protect his sister Daki as well. Uzui immediately realizes that his opponent was an Upper Moon, unlike Daki, whose defeat was almost certain.
Fights divided by levels
While Tanjiro and Uzui face Gyutaro, Zenetsu and Inozuke go after Daki. Both fights are initially evenly matched. With a well-orchestrated plan between Tanjiro and his friends, they almost defeat Daki, but Gyutaro proves superior to anyone present.
An epic episode with impeccable direction
Everything is saved for this episode: climax, memorable fights, breathtaking scenes, and a level of direction we haven't seen in anime for a long time. Tanjiro finds himself with no alternative but to flee and use his last remaining resource to cut off Gyotaro's head.
Uzui awakens, motivating Tanjiro to keep going, with the climax of the episode cutting through to the fight between Daki and Zenitsu, who finally manage to cut off each brother's head. The ending leaves an unbelievable cliffhanger that we'll see in the next 45-minute episode.
From this point on, we cannot move forward. We have to wait for the conclusion, which will take place this Sunday, February 13th. Excited?
