After being placed in their respective homes, strange events began to emerge, and Inosuke was the first to suspect. Soon, letters were revealed to be sent by Makio, one of Uzui's wives, who was being held prisoner.
Finally the villain of this season is revealed... but not really...
After this, as the anime's story progresses, Daki is finally revealed to the audience. In fact, she belongs to Muzan's group of 12 demons, ranking as Upper Moon 6. After transforming into an oni, she began living in the Red Light District, punishing geisha and inflicting pain on other women as a way of repaying her past suffering.
The fight begins with Tanjiro
Soon after becoming suspicious of Zenitsu's disappearance, Tanjiro meets with Inozuke to share information. Uzui then decides to reveal the situation to a superior Onin and decides to act alone. Relentlessly, Tanjiro decides to continue his search and eventually encounters Daki, where he confronts her one-on-one.
Uzui's wives saved
While the fight between Daki and Tanjiro is ongoing, Zenitsu ends up being found by Inozuke in the villain Daki's tracks, where they both manage to rescue Uzui's wives. Finally, Uzui arrives as the icing on the cake, showing what he's made of.
Tanjiro's Awakening
Gradually understanding how his breathing works, Tanjiro believes he can defeat Daki and goes after him until he is awakened by his sister asking him to breathe again.
A monster kept under lock and key
About to be killed by Daki, Nezuko wakes up determined to use all her powers to defend her brother. She proves she's ahead of Daki and faces her calmly, until Izui arrives. Tanjiro decides to block her powers again by singing her exhaustion to sleep.
Gyutaro is his name
With Daki's secret revealed, Gyutaro decides to step in and join the fight to protect his sister Daki. Uzui immediately realizes that his opponent was a higher moon, unlike Daki, whose defeat was almost certain.
Fights divided by levels
While Tanjiro and Uzui face Gyutaro, Zenetsu and Inozuke go after Daki. Both fights are initially on equal footing. With a well-orchestrated plan between Tanjiro and his friends, they nearly defeat Daki, but Gyutaro proves superior to anyone in the room.
Epic episode with impeccable direction
Everything is in store for this episode: a climax, memorable fights, breathtaking scenes, and direction we haven't seen in anime in a while. Tanjiro finds himself with no choice but to flee and use his last resort to cut off Gyotaro's head.
Uzui awakens, motivating Tanjiro to keep going, with the episode's climax intercutting with the fight between Daki and Zenitsu, both finally managing to cut off each brother's head. The finale ends with an unbelievable cliffhanger that we'll see in the next 45-minute episode.
