The highly anticipated film that kicks off the 3rd season of the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba ( Demon Slayer ) has had its official title revealed in Brazil. According to reports, the film will be released on March 9th of this year by Cinépolis , Cinemark , and UCI .

Therefore, this new film premiered on February 2nd in Japan and features the last two episodes of the second season, as well as the first episode of the third season with new characters, including Mitsuri . However, the 3rd season of Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour with all episodes premieres on April 23, 2023 on the Crunchyroll streaming platform.
Synopsis:
The new season of Demon Slayer will cover the Blacksmith Village arc from the manga. In the story, Tanjiro awakens from a coma after defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District and needs to go to the village to forge a new sword, since his old weapon was damaged. However, along the way, he encounters new demons who, following orders from Muzan, the main villain of the plot, intend to eliminate all demon slayers.
Finally, the first season of Kimetsu no Yaiba premiered in April 2019 , becoming a successful phenomenon with the film. Furthermore, the second season premiered on December 5 , 2021 in Japan.
