This year's 32nd issue of Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump revealed that Kimetsu no Yaiba will get a new light novel , which will be released on July 16th .
The novel is titled Kimetesu no Yaiba Novelize: Yūkaku Sennyū Daisakusen-hen . Shuka Matsuda is writing the story, while Gotouge is providing the illustrations.
It is worth remembering that Kimetsu no Yaiba has already inspired four other light novels, all written by Aya Yajima .
The new release will cover the same arc as volumes 8-11 of the manga , which volumes the next arc of the anime will cover. The new season of the anime will premiere this year.
Author Koyoharu Gotouge launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2016. The manga ended in May 2020. The publisher published the 23rd and final volume of the manga in December 2020.
The manga inspired an anime adaptation, which premiered in April 2019.
