It has been confirmed that the second season of Kingdom will come to an end. In the April edition of Sueisha's V Jump Sueisha confirmed that Kingdom comes to an end in episode 39, which will be shown on March 1st. The anime began airing in June 2013.
The manga has been published in Weekly Young Jump since 2006 and already has 33 volumes.
NHK broadcasts the series on Sunday mornings. For now, the public broadcaster has not yet announced whether a third season will be produced.
