Kumo desu ga, Nani ka? – New trailer, cast, staff, and release date

The official website for the anime Kumo desu ga, Nani ka? has revealed a new trailer, cast, staff, theme songs, and a premiere date of January 8th.

Kumo desu ga premieres on January 8th on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS11, KBS Tokyo, Sun TV, and TV Aichi. The anime, licensed by Crunchyroll , will air for two consecutive cours ( 6 months ).

Voice actress Aoi Yuki (Tsuyu Asui in My Hero Academia and Tanya Degurechaff in Saga of Tanya the Evil) will star in the anime, voicing the protagonist Kumoko !

Okina Baba, the author of the original novels, is collaborating with Yuuichiro Momose (Infinite Dendrogan) on the script. Kii Tanaka (Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu) is doing the character design. Masahiko Suzuki, Ryo Hirata, and Hiromi Kimamura are credited with monster design. Tomohiro Yoshida is the chief animator. Shinji Nagaoka is the art director, while Chieko Hibi is the color designer. Hideki Imaizumi is the director of photography, Takashi Sakurai is in charge of editing, and Kazuo Yamaguchi is credited as CG director, with exsa as the CG animation studio, while ENGI is credited as CG animation production assistant. Shuji Katayama is composing the music.

Synopsis

The novel tells the story of a world where a hero and the demon king are locked in a constant feud. The absurd magic used in their battles crosses over into another world, exploding a classroom and killing all the students. The students are reincarnated in a fantasy world. However, the protagonist, who held the lowest rank in the class, is reincarnated as a one-meter-tall monster spider. But she accepts this fate and adapts to her new life quickly. The story follows the protagonist as she survives in this new world.

Furthermore, Okina Baba launched the novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro with illustrations by Tsukasa Kiryu in May 2015. Additionally, a manga adaptation illustrated by Asahiro Kakashi in Young Ace Up .
