Following the confirmation of Assassination Classroom , the most successful basketball manga in Japan, Kuroko no Basket , is also officially released by Panini . According to an announcement at the Fest Comix , they had already announced that they would bring two sensational titles to the delight of many otaku readers.
Kuroko no Basket was already the third best-selling manga of the first half of 2014, coming close to the famous One Piece, the work by Tadatoshi Fujimaki published since 2008 in the magazine Shonen Jump was one of the most requested titles by fans here in Brazil.
With 27 volumes and a third anime season announced, Kuroko's Basket revolves around the Teiko High School basketball team, which rose to prominence by defeating all competition. The members of this team became known as the "Generation of Miracles." After graduating from elementary school, these five stars enrolled in different high schools. Each school now boasted a strong basketball team. However, a fact few knew was that there was another member of the "Generation of Miracles," a sixth "phantom player," Kuroko Tetsuya. This mysterious player is now a freshman at Seirin High, a new school with its little-known basketball team. Now, Kuroko, the sixth member of the "Generation of Miracles," and Kagami Taiga, a naturally talented player who spent most of high school in the United States, aim to lead Seirin to the top of Japan, challenging Kuroko's former teammates one by one.
