This year, issue 49 of Shonen Jump announced that the third season of Kuroko's Basketball will premiere in January 2015, not March as previously announced. The channels that will air it are MBS, Tokyo MX TV, and BS11. The third season begins with the episode "Neighborhood 51." The magazine also features a key visual showcasing the four schools that survived the Winter Cup Best 4.
Tadatoshi Fujimaki will launch a sequel to Kuroko no Basket (Kuroko no Basuke) in the next issue on December 29th. The series' ending was already announced in August, check it out here . The debut of the new Kuroko no Basket manga will have an opening page and art on the cover of the magazine.
Fujimaki launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2008, and Shueisha published the compiled volume on October 29th. As of April, the series had over 27 million copies in circulation. The first animated season of Kuroko's Basketball, based on the manga, ran from April to September 2012. The second season premiered in October of last year and ran until March. The third season is scheduled for next year, although the exact month has not yet been announced.
