To promote the second season of the anime Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries), the official website revealed a series of plant-related images, which will be released monthly.

Therefore, the images will be released seasonally, every 22nd of each month. The first image is titled 'Early Summer Lotus'. Season 2 premieres in 2025.
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Synopsis:
The story takes place in a large country in the middle of the continent. We meet Mao-mao, a young woman who works as a pharmacist in a Hanamachi (a neighborhood with many brothels). But her life changes when she is kidnapped and sold as a servant to the palace. She hides the fact that she is a pharmacist, working very quietly, waiting for the new year to arrive. One day, however, she hears a rumor from a coworker that the emperor's children are dying one after another, and using her knowledge of pharmacy, she discovers the cause.
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (Diaries of an Apothecary), now dubbed, began its publication in October 2011 in Shousetsuka ni Narou.
Finally, the novel had two manga, the first published in Big Gangan and the second in Sunday Gene-X.
