To promote the second season of the anime Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries), the official website revealed a series of plant-related images, which will be released monthly.

Therefore, the images will be released seasonally, on the 22nd of each month. The first image is named 'Early Summer Lotus'. Season 2 premieres in 2025.
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Synopsis:
The story takes place in a large country in the middle of the continent, however we meet Mao-mao, a young woman who works as a pharmacist in a Hanamachi (a neighborhood with several brothels). But her life changes when she is kidnapped and sold as a servant to the palace. But she hides the fact that she is a pharmacist, she works very quietly, waiting for the new year to arrive. One day, however, she hears a rumor from a co-worker that the emperor's children are dying one after another, and using her pharmacy knowledge, she discovers the cause.
Kusuriya at Hitorigoto ( Diaries of an Apotecaria ) now dubbed , started its publication in October 2011 at Shousetsuka Nou .
Finally, the novel had two manga , the first published in Big Gangan and the second published in Sunday Gene-X.
