The anime Let’s Go Kaikigumi ( Rettsu go kaikigumi ) has received a new full trailer, as well as a new visual, details about the theme songs, and confirmation of another cast member. The adaptation is based on the manga by Byū, published on the Omocoro service between 2018 and 2024.
The preview features the opening theme “Kimi ga Waruindakara ne”, performed by the idol group SWEET STEADY. The ending theme will be “Iwashite ne?”, a song by Uketsu, an author known for the novel The Strange House and for his work related to the Japanese horror genre.
Cast and production team
The story blends comedy and supernatural horror. It all begins when an extremely timid protagonist meets Mechako, leader of the Kaikigumi organization, responsible for managing ghosts and mysterious creatures. From this encounter, strange and unusual events begin to occur in his daily life.

The cast includes Tasuku Hatanaka as the protagonist, Ruriko Aoki as Mechako, Yoshino Aoyama as Shurako, Yuki Sakakihara as the Doppelganger, and Shigeru Chiba as the narrator. The animation is being handled by studio C-Station , with Yutaka Hirata directing .
