The manga Let's Go Kaikigumi ( Rettsu go kaikigumi ) will receive an anime in 2026. The series promises to blend comedy and supernatural horror , bringing back the bizarre humor and eccentric characters that marked the original manga.
The anime adaptation of Rettsu go kaikigumi ( Let's Go Kaikigumi ) will be produced by C-Station , the same studio behind Yuru Camp△ and Starmyu Yutaka Hirata will direct , with script and series composition by Mutsumi Itō and character design by Yoshimitsu Yamashita .

Synopsis
The story follows an extremely timid young man who happens to meet Mechako , the charismatic leader of the "Kaikigumi" organization, responsible for controlling ghosts and yokai. Unintentionally, the protagonist ends up helping the group return, which sets off a series of absurd and hilarious supernatural phenomena .
The original manga debuted on the Omocoro between 2018 and 2024 and won fans for its eccentric humor and creative way of dealing with fear. The author Amekasa , famous for works such as The Strange House (Hen na Ie) , participates in the adaptation with musical collaboration on the theme song "Numa".
The original author celebrated the announcement, saying he was so surprised he "couldn't even taste his lunch." Director Hirata stated that, even with the change in medium, the goal is to preserve the soul of the manga and deliver something special for the fans.
