One of the most intriguing light novels of recent years will be adapted into an anime in October. Magic Repo Man: Dumped by My Party, I'll Cash In With a Cute Support Fairy to Become the Strongest! ( Kashita Maryoku wa Ribo Barai de Kyosei Choshu ) has revealed its first promotional video, as well as the main cast members and details of its broadcast on Japanese TV.

The protagonist will be played by Reiji Kawashima, known for roles in recent fantasy series. Emupee, the fairy responsible for managing Rent's peculiar magical system, will be voiced by Emiri Kato.
A system of magic based on debt
The story follows Rent, a young adventurer unjustly expelled from his group after years of lending his own magical energy to his companions. However, the abandonment awakens a unique ability called "Forced Collection," capable of recovering all the borrowed magic with accrued interest. From then on, he begins his revenge against his former allies while strengthening his own abilities.
Therefore, the animation is in the hands of the SynergySP, directed by Takahiro Tamano, with a soundtrack composed by Kou Otani. It will premiere in October 2026 on TV Asahi.
