The second season of Sasaki and Peeps (Sasaki and Pichan) has a return date. Kadokawa revealed a new promotional video, a new visual, and confirmed that the new episodes of the anime will premiere in October 2026 on Japanese television.

The production also announced changes to the main team, retaining several professionals who worked on the first season, which aired in 2024.
New direction for the continuation
Yushi Ibe, who served as episode director and assistant director for the first season, will assume the role of general director for the new season at studio SILVER LINK.Yamato Ouchi will now serve as assistant director.
Among the new additions to the technical team, Kazunori Ozawa will be responsible for supervising the action scenes, while Yuko Shintani will take over as director of cinematography. Tsutomu Ogasawara also joins as the new 3D CG director.
On the other hand, important names are returning to the project, including Deko Akao on scripts, Saori Nakashiki on character design, and Nobuyuki Abe on sound direction.
Fantasy, superpowers, and parallel worlds
Based on the light novel written by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku, Sasaki and Peeps follows Sasaki, an ordinary worker who finds a seemingly normal pet bird. However, the bird reveals itself to be a powerful sage from another world and grants magical abilities to the protagonist, allowing him to travel between dimensions.
The first season premiered in January 2024 with a special one-hour episode. Since then, the series has gained popularity among urban fantasy fans by combining elements of isekai, espionage, magic, and everyday life.
