Namco Bandai has announced that it is producing a 3D action game based on the series created by Gen Urubuchi, titled Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Battle Pentagram . The title will be released for PS Vita and is being developed by Artdink . The production company Magical Quartet is supervising the new game, which will feature the anime's soundtrack. The game will feature the five main characters.

Homura Akem : can manipulate time and use firearms.
Mami Tomoe : can use magic and ranged weapons.
Madoka Kaname : uses the light arrow.
Sayaka Miki : uses a sword at close range, but can use various movements and possesses good attack speed.
Kyoko Sakura : uses a spear and can attack at short or medium range.
