Manga 'Magilumiere' about magical girl company gets anime

Shonen Jump's YouTube channel revealed a promotional video on Tuesday (28), announcing that the manga Magilumiere Co. Ltd. , created by Sekka Iwata and Yuu Aoki , will gain an anime adaptation. The production will be handled by studios Moe and JC Staff and is scheduled to premiere in 2024.

Synopsis

While facing challenges in the job market, college student Kana Sakuragi is recruited by the magical girl company Magilumiere. Taking on the role of "Magical Girl," her responsibility is to combat a form of natural disaster known as "Kaii." The anime, in turn, promises to explore Kana's professional life as a Magical Girl in a thrilling way.

Staff

The anime will be directed by Masahiro Hiraoka (CG director of One-Punch Man 2, Planet With) at Studio Moe. Shingo Nagai (Girly Air Force) will supervise and write the scripts. Additionally, the main cast of the anime will include Fairouz Ai (Power in Chainsaw Man ) as Kana Sakuragi and Yumiri Hanamori as Hitomi Koshigaya.

Finally, writer Iwata and artist Aoki launched the manga on Shueisha 's Shonen Jump+ in October 2021. Additionally, the work reached its ninth volume, published by Shueisha on October 4, creating anticipation for the long-awaited animated adaptation.
