Fans of isekai fantasy can now add another title to their list of upcoming releases. The light novel Majutsu o Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf (A Reincarnated Elf, Who Mastered Magic and Embarked on a Journey, Becomes a Living Legend With Excess Lifespan) has released its first promotional teaser and details about the main staff. The series is scheduled to premiere in 2027.

A reincarnated elf seeks to leave his mark
Based on the work of Monshō Sakakibara, The Reincarnated Elf Left on a Journey to Master His Magic and With His Extra Lifespan Became a Living Legend follows an ordinary man who loses his life in a sudden accident and is reborn as an elf with a life expectancy of a thousand years.
Determined to live without regrets and leave a legacy for the future, he embarks on a long journey. During his travels, he reunites with a young woman whose life he had previously saved, beginning a narrative marked by encounters and farewells throughout the centuries.
Cast and production of the anime
The protagonist Liese will be voiced by Daiki Yamashita, known for voicing Izuku Midoriya in My Hero Academia. Minori will be voiced by Hana Hishikawa.
The direction will be handled by Yuki Inaba at Studio Palette. In addition, Inaba will also be responsible for the series composition and scripts for the anime.
The original novel began its publication on the Kakuyomu website in 2021. Subsequently, Starts Publishing released the first print volume in 2022, with illustrations by Hatori Kyoka. The manga adaptation, illustrated by kanco, debuted in 2023 and will reach its sixth volume this month.
