Darwin's Game Manga Begins Its 'Last Event'

Author and illustrator FLIPFLOP Darwin's Game manga began its "Last Event" in the 22nd volume this Tuesday.

FLIPFLOP launched the manga in Akita Shoten 's Bessatsu Shonen Champion in December 2012. The story is by Shuu Miyama (formerly known by the pen name Ginko) and art by Yuki Takahara . The manga entered its final arc in January.

Synopsis

High school student Sudo Kaname had a normal life, but when he received an invitation from a school friend to play a mysterious app, the enigmatic Darwin's Game, he found himself embroiled in a deadly game where people battle for victory, where his life hangs in the balance, though riches await the successful. How will he survive?

Furthermore, the manga inspired an anime adaptation by Nexus , which premiered with a one-hour episode in January. In Brazil, the anime was streamed on Crunchyroll .

Finally, the FLIPFLOP duo published a prologue novel in Weekly Shonen Champion in January, with Miyama writing the story and Takahara drawing the illustrations. The novel's story focuses on Shuka and Rain's past. The novel was completed on August 27th.
