The September issue of Ichijinsha 's Monthly Comic Rex Hazuki Takeoka and Tiv 's Masamune-kun no Revenge manga will get a special chapter featuring Masamune and Aki after the final chapter of the main series.
The special chapter will debut in the next issue of the magazine on August 27th.
Synopsis
SynopsisAs a child, Masamune Makabe suffered at the hands of a rich and beautiful girl named Aki Adagaki, who nicknamed him "Piggy" because of his chubbyness. Seeking revenge on his tormentor, Masamune works hard to improve himself and returns as an incredibly handsome and narcissistic high school student. When he meets Aki again, he is ready to exact the revenge he's been waiting for.
Writer Takeoka and Korean artist Tiv (Heaven's Memo Pad) launched the manga in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex in 2012, and ended it in June 2018.
Takeoka and Tiv launched the spinoff Masamune-kun no Revenge After School in Monthly Comic Rex in September 2018, and concluded in January 2019. The manga tells stories about the characters after the main story. Ichijinsha published these stories in the manga's "extra" volume 11 in April 2019.
Additionally, the manga inspired a 12-episode + OVA anime adaptation that premiered in January 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
