Mappa wants to animate all of the Chainsaw Man creator's works! That's right! At Crunchyroll Expo 2022 in early August, IGN France MAPPA Studios , which is producing the Chainsaw Man . At the event, MAPPA made it clear that it wants to animate other works by Fujimoto.
In an interview, the MAPPA staff said, " We've read all of Tatsuki Fujimoto's works. We'd like to animate all of his works at MAPPA, " denoting a fascination with the author's other works, including the popular one-shots Look Back and Sayonara Eri ( Goodbye, Eri ). Tatsuki Fujimoto has also done some great work with a unique perspective on the world.
Fire Punch is a demonstration of this.
Chainsaw Man Synopsis:
The story takes place in a world where demons are born from human fears. While they are generally dangerous and malevolent, humans can form contracts with demons to harness some of their power. Denji is a depressed young man trying to repay his late father's debt to the yakuza by selling several of his organs and working as a demon hunter. Denji also possesses a dog-like demon named Pochita, who resembles a chainsaw and assists Denji in his work.
