MAPPA wants to animate all of the works by the author of Chainsaw Man! That's right! At Crunchyroll Expo 2022 in early August, IGN France interviewed the team from MAPPA , which is responsible for producing the Chainsaw Man . At the event, MAPPA made it clear that they want to animate other works by Fujimoto.

In an interview, the MAPPA team said, “ We have read all of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s works. We would like to animate all of his works at MAPPA, ” denoting a fascinating interest in the rest of the author’s works, including the popular one-shots Look Back and Sayonara Eri ( Goodbye, Eri ). Tatsuki Fujimoto also created great works with a unique vision of the world.
Fire Punch is a demonstration of this.
