With the end of the Naruto Masashi Kishimoto 's life didn't stop for a minute. After Books, OneShots and the new film Boruto , he said he will spend some time resting, but revealed in a recent interview there in Japan that the next project will be a science fiction.
Let’s get to know a little about this ambitious new project:
In the text of the interview he reveals that the manga will not be weekly like Naruto was, saying: “ That's definitely not going to happen, but I like drawing manga ”. Commenting that he is more interested in Shonen Jump Plus, the digital comics service of Shonen Jump magazine (where Naruto was published), because the online format allows more freedom with the number of pages and publication deadlines for a comic than the version printed.
About this next work, he comments: “ I've already decided what I'm going to do . While I was making Naruto, I thought about a lot of things for inspiration, and for my next manga I'm thinking about doing something science fiction. Everything isn’t quite right yet, I haven’t shown it to my editor yet, but I’ve already sketched out the characters.”
He also promises an ambitious project: “ As Naruto was a bigger success than I expected, I would like to aim for the next success. I don't know when I will announce this next manga, but as I plan to challenge myself to surpass Naruto, I ask that everyone wait a bit ."
