The second season of Mato Seihei no Slave arrives with exciting news for fans. The production has confirmed a special screening of episodes 1 and 2 of the " Gohōbi Ver. " version, scheduled for December 11 , 2025 in Tokyo and Kyoto.
The event in Tokyo will take place at Cinem@rt Shinjuku , where director Masafumi Tamura and producer Yuki Watanabe . They will discuss behind-the-scenes aspects of the production and highlight the most important points of the new phase of the series. Meanwhile, audiences in both cities will be able to watch the opening theme “ Hikari yo, Boku ni. ”, sung by Akari Kito , and the ending theme “ Cipher Cipher ”, by Kana Hanazawa , along with never-before-seen scenes.
On the other hand, the Kyoto event takes place at T-Joy Kyoto , in homage to the hometown of Koi Yamashiro , a central figure in the new season. Finally, tickets will be made available in different phases: Kyoto via Animate starting November 21st, and Tokyo through the cinema's online system on the same day.
The second season of Mato Seihei no Slave officially premieres on January 8, 2026 , airing on multiple Japanese channels.
