Obanai Iguro has a high level of self-hatred due to his past and the history of his clan, stating that he would have to reincarnate into a new being to be able to tell Mitsuri his true feelings.
Iguro (伊黒小芭内) is a Demon Hunter in the manga , being the Serpent Pillar. Obanai has an extremely strong and aggressive personality like a pillar. Despite his personality there are two people he cares about, Kagaya Ubuyashiki and Mitsuri Kanroji for whom he has romantic feelings.
Obanai Iguro Techniques
His techniques are always modifying his sword like a snake, the attacks are not direct and constantly winding that they can reach anywhere. Due to his blindness in his right eye, Obanai developed his combat style with his pet snake, Kaburamaru , who is capable of analyzing his opponent's movements.
Serpent's Breath
Created by Obanai himself, serpent breathing is an offshoot of water breathing. Furthermore, the forms and techniques used in this breathing style are based on the bending of the user's sword, with the movements resembling a snake biting the target.
Red Nichirin Blade
At first he manages to turn his weapon into a crimson red , the user gains the strong ability to negate the Demons' enhanced regeneration.
Transparent World:
In this state the user gains the ability to predict their opponent's attack while not showing their battle spirit and sense of bloodlust, gaining immunity from anyone who could sense it.
