The manga Midari ni Tsukasete wa Narimasen ( Don't Get Recklessly Possessed ), by Aguri Kurita , had its official conclusion published in the August issue of Kadokawa 's Dragon Age magazine . The final chapter hit Japanese newsstands on July 9, 2016, ending the series' run which began in 2024.

Therefore, the publisher also confirmed that the second and final compiled volume will be released in September in Japan. With this, the series concludes its publication with only two collected volumes.

Synopsis
The story follows Yasushi Sugahara, an unemployed man known for accepting any request without question. His routine changes when he encounters a ghost identical to the young university student who works part-time at the shrine run by his family. The plot blends romantic comedy and supernatural elements in unusual situations.
Therefore, Aguri Kurita launched Midari ni Tsukasete wa Narimasen in Dragon Age magazine in November 2024. The first volume was published by Kadokawa in July 2025.
