Modest Heroes (Chiisana Eiyū: Kani to Tamago to Tōmei Ningen), the new anime from Studio Ponoc, has released its first trailer featuring the ending theme "Sayonara Eiyū" sung by Kaela Kimura.
Moreover, the entire anime is developed by Studio Ponoc, with important names from the mega-renowned Ghibli. The film will be divided into an anthology of short films, later separated into volumes.
Kanini to Kanino
The first short film focuses on an adventure-oriented narrative featuring a pair of crab siblings, directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi (Mary and the Witch's Flower).
Samurai Egg
The second story is about a familial love between a mother and son, directed by Yoshiyuki Momose (Grave of the Fireflies).
Toumei Ningen
Finally, the story of the third short film will focus on the action of an invisible man's solitary struggle, and is directed by Akihiko Yamashita (Howl's Moving Castle).
