The official website for the Monogatari Off & Monster Season has released a new trailer. Additionally, a new image from the series has been shared on social media.
The returning staff for the new anime includes Akiyuki Simbo as chief director, Midori Yoshizawa (episode director for Zoku Owarimonogatari) as director, and Akio Watanabe as character designer and chief animation director. Simbo and Fuyashi Tou are once again supervising the series scripts.
NisiOisin 's light novel series began with the two-volume Bakemonogatari story in 2006, and served as the basis for the first anime adaptation of the novels in 2009. The "final season" of the novel series ended with Zoku Owarimonogatari in September 2014, but featured a teaser for " Monogatari Series, Next Season Tsugimonogatari ".
