The webtoon Mamonogurai no Boukensha (Monster Eater) has had its anime adaptation confirmed and will premiere in April 2026. The work originates from an original by Renkin Ou and gained popularity as an exclusive webtoon on LINE Manga . Now, the title is moving to Japanese television, airing on TOKYO MX.

The story follows Rude, a low-ranking adventurer who is ridiculed for his near-powerlessness. However, things take a turn when he commits an extreme taboo by consuming monster meat. From that moment on, Rude awakens a unique ability, capable of transforming suffering into real evolution. Thus, the anime focuses on constant progression, difficult choices, and survival.

Meanwhile, the teaser already reveals a straightforward visual style, typical of the light anime format. Sato Hikaru is directing, with production by Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio. Furthermore, the creators thanked the readers for their support, a decisive factor in the adaptation.

Therefore, Monster Eater arrives as a promising contender among fantasy anime in 2026.

Recognized among fans who follow anime online, AnimeNew stands out for its coverage of news, releases, and updates from the Japanese market.
