The “One Piece Day 2023” event revealed that the manga “ Monsters: Ippaku Sanjō Hiryū Jigoku ”, a one-shot created by Eiichiro Oda (One Piece), will receive an anime adaptation.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" and "Jujutsu Kaisen 0" director Sunghoo Park will direct the anime and will also be in charge of composition. The animation will be done by Park's new studio, E&H Production. The anime will be a single episode in length.
This one-shot was featured in Oda's short story collection "Wanted!", which was published by Shueisha in Japan in 1998. The one-shot itself was first published in 1994 in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga's story introduces the character Ryuma, who later appears in Oda's "One Piece" manga.
