Kodansha Young magazine Watanabe 's manga Montage will receive a film adaptation. The manga's new Hokkaido arc is also beginning in this new issue.
The manga begins when a 10-year-old boy named Yamato and his friend Miku find a dying man in an alley. The man says that Yamato's father was involved in a large, unsolved "300 Million Yen Robbery Bank" scheme in 1968. The children agree to keep the man's words a secret. Yamato's father is found dead shortly after the incident. Years later, Yamato still has doubts about his father's murder, which was ruled a suicide. Yamato decides to seek the truth about his father's life and death.
