My Hero Academia – Original episode announced for the anime

This year's 35th issue of Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump revealed on Monday that the My Hero Academia anime episode , which will then be broadcast in Japan starting August 16.

Plot

The new original episode is titled “My Hero Academia: Ikinokore! Kesshi no Survival Kunren.” The episode occurs shortly before the provisional hero license exam. Class 1-A is divided into two teams to practice in disaster scenarios. In the exercise, there was a fire in an underground mall, and the teams must save mannequins placed in the area, serving as people left behind in the mall. As Deku and his team of 10 begin searching for victims to save, an area collapses and traps them underground. Additionally, there are also more threats of other areas collapsing, electricity is gone, and the air is getting weaker. Deku and his team must work together with their quirks to escape and survive.

The anime's 13-episode first season premiered in April 2016. The 25-episode second season premiered in April 2017 and the third season premiered in April 2018 and lasted 25 episodes. The fourth season premiered in Japan in October 2019 and aired a total of 25 episodes. The anime will later receive a fifth season.
