The manga is written by Jun Esaka and features cover art by Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of the franchise. The story is 100% original and is expected to show more details of their life as a couple, with the two embarking on a mission together.
This is the second in a series of stories derived from the Naruto universe. Earlier this year, Naruto: Kakashi Retsuden: The Sixth Hokage and the Failure Boy was published, showing how Kakashi feels he is failing in leading the village.
The release of Sasuke Retsuden: The Uchiha Descendants and the Heavenly Stardust is scheduled for August in Japan.
