Naruto, the best-selling manga of all time in the US, one of the most widely read manga in history, and one of the greatest works to come from a Japanese author, has its end announced. It exploded onto the scene more than a decade ago and quickly grew into a gigantic franchise that spawned a anime , dozens of games, and a ton of merchandise. It became a cultural phenomenon and joined a group of anime based on manga that penetrated the popular consciousness of America.
Naruto was an immediate success. The story of a boy pursuing his dreams resonated with children and adults alike. With simply magnificent and memorable characters, and the brilliant, fertile creativity of Masashi Kishimoto, it's easy to see how the series became so popular.
And now, after 15 years of uninterrupted publication, the manga is finally reaching an incredible conclusion on November 10th. During this period, Shonen Jump will fondly celebrate the best moments of the series.
But don't worry, the graphic novels are still being released and the anime has a long way to go. The manga's story is coming to an end, but the world of Naruto will not end.
And within the fanbase, it will NEVER end.
