Naruto – Masashi Kishimoto launches his new manga focused on Minato

It's been a few years since Masashi Kishimoto published an original manga related to the Naruto . However, the mangaka has finally published his new one-shot called Naruto Gaiden: The Whirlpool , a story focused on the character Minato Namikaze . His new manga is now available to read online for free.

This Sunday (the 17th), the new Naruto manga was published on Shueisha , MANGA Plus . Furthermore, the manga is available with a Portuguese translation for Brazilian fans. Therefore, we can read the one-shot for free in digital format through Shueisha's website/app.

The story focuses on the life of Minato Namikaze before he became the Fourth Hokage of Konoha and Naruto's father. Therefore, the manga introduces the period when Minato created his famous Rasengan jutsu and his romantic relationship with Kushina Uzumaki. Masashi Kishimoto himself drew and wrote the story of this one-shot in homage to the NARUTOTP99 .

Finally, Naruto received its first anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot in 2002 and ran until 2007. However, in the same year, the anime already had its sequel, Naruto Shippuden , which ended in 2017.

Ukyo  Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto launched Boruto: Naruto Next Generations , a sequel manga, in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016, and the manga was published monthly in the magazine. The manga then moved to V Jump in July 2019. Masashi Kishimoto took over the project as the manga's writer in November 2020.

Finally, the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime, in turn, premiered in April 2017 and went on hiatus in March 2023 to prepare for the second phase of the story, which takes place after the timeskip.
