Naruto: The Best Anime for Brazilians?!
First, you've probably already noticed that Naruto's work is still highlighted today, whether through participation in games/events, social media or even by appearing at the top of streaming services here in Brazil. In fact, all this prominence comes mainly from Classic Naruto and Shippuden, showing that even though it ended a few years ago, it is still successful today.
On the other hand, works like Dragon Ball, Yu-Gi-Oh! and even Gentlemen of the Zodiac, which were also a huge success here in Brazil around the 90s and 2000s, no longer have the same prominence they once had. So, it can be said that even the Naruto series took all the success for itself!
Brazilian Fever

Those of you who are older like me already know that in the past we didn't watch anime on the computer like we do today. Therefore, for Japanese works to be successful, it was their obligation to air on open channels. And that was how several works were consolidated in Brazil, becoming a great success.
In the case of Naruto, it is worth remembering that he ended up here in our territory in 2007 via Cartoon Network. Thus, even though it came a little later than other works, its success continues to this day. Furthermore, after all the success on Cartoon, the work ended up on SBT's open TV, where it was a real success. Not to mention that in the same period, Editora Panini began to launch the Manga here and with that its success grew astronomically.
Thus, in a short time the work was already on the shelves of several stores, whether through printed t-shirts and objects such as bandanas and kunais. Not to mention that the anime-oriented game franchise also exploded in an unexpected way, where it is worth highlighting the games in the Naruto Ultimate Ninja series.
However, our ninjas had a lot of difficulties on the airwaves. Since they replayed several episodes due to lack of material, leaving fans going crazy. In fact, SBT didn't even show all the content of the first phase of the anime, while Cartoon dedicated a little more.
The End of Anime in Brazil?

After several successes that exploded in audience on all broadcasters, be it Band, SBT and even Globo, over time they were forced to remove our beloved animes from the small screens. And this happened basically for two reasons: the first is because of the violence that some of these great works brought to us, with them not being recommended to be broadcast in the morning and the broadcasters running the risk of taking legal action.
The second main reason why we are no longer seeing these works on open TV is for a simple market issue. All channels preferred to opt for alternative entertainment programs, to boost sales and better control the market, as it is much easier to advertise with famous people than with fictional characters.
Finally, it is worth highlighting that even after all this, classical works have a place in the hearts of young people. In particular, Naruto, which can be said to be part of Brazilian culture and is still present wherever you look. Anyway, this was our special post of the day, I hope you liked it, leave a comment and see you next time!
