" Not only for Japan, but for the world, we are also preparing new content to deliver anime programming, " the tweet states.
Above all, the new channel, which aims to deliver information about anime worldwide, seems like an expansion of the Netflix Pawā , an initiative for anime fans to receive news about their favorite titles, learn more about their favorite anime, their creators, and cultural interests.
Furthermore, the new Netflix Anime Global project is expected to follow the same line, showcasing original anime from the platform, interviews with staff, behind-the-scenes glimpses of the creation process, etc. However, it has not yet been announced whether the channel will receive episodes.
Netflix is the leading internet entertainment service company, with over 130 million members in 190 countries.
Last month, the digital strategy company Analyzelog launched Animelog , an official YouTube channel offering free anime content.
