We have news about the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the anime Cowboy Bebop . Netflix has confirmed that actress Elena Satine (Revenge) will play Julia , a woman fleeing a tragic past.

Julia is a sophisticated blonde girl in trouble who has a mysterious connection to Spike.

Spike Spiegel
Spike in the Cowboy Bebop series has a carefree demeanor that hides a dangerous individual. In order to conceal his more sensitive side, he is haunted by his past.
Jet Black
Jet may seem intimidating, but he's pure of heart. He's had enough of the corrupt system, but he still catches criminals as a bounty hunter.
Faye Valentine
Faye is an attractive bounty hunter with a sharp tongue, but she has no memory of her past, including her family and friends.
Vicious
Vicious is the ruthless leader of a criminal organization known as the Syndicate. He is also capable of killing anyone who gets in the way of his business
The series Cowboy Bebop takes place in 2071 and follows a group of bounty hunters, with a theme blending elements of Western , science fiction, and noir .
In the Netflix adaptation, John Cho ( Star Trek ) will play Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir ( Luke Cage ) will play Jet Black, Daniella Pineda ( Jurassic World ) will play Faye Valentine, and Alex Hassell (Suburbicon) will play the villain Vicious.
The first two episodes are directed by veteran Alex Garcia Lopez , whose credits include episodes of Daredevil , Luke Cage , and Cloak & Dagger . Shinichiro Watanabe , the director of the original anime, is providing consulting services for the series' episodes.
Finally, the Netflix series Cowboy Bebop does not yet have a release date, and ten episodes have been confirmed.
