Dante will return soon! Netflix has confirmed that the Devil May Cry anime has been renewed for a second season. A visual was released on social media to accompany the announcement.

Therefore, the animation premiered on April 3, 2025 on the Netflix , animated by the MiR studio.
Dante , Vergil , and Lady have been confirmed as characters in the story. Furthermore, the new anime has Adi Shankar ( Castlevania ) as executive producer and is scripted by Alex Larsen ( Yasuke ).
Synopsis of Devil May Cry:
The game's story takes place in modern times on the fictional island of Mallet and centers on Dante, a demon hunter who uses his business to seek revenge after losing his mother and brother.
Finally, the anime will consist of 8 episodes produced by Studio MIR ( Harley Quinn, The Legend of Korra ), and will be shown on Netflix. Additionally, the title received an anime adaptation, produced by Madhouse ( One Punch Man ), with 13 episodes, all released in 2007.
