The new trailer for the remake of “ RoboCop ” has just been made available on the internet. The video explains the plot of the production, directed by José Padilha (Tropa de Elite 1 and 2).
In 'Robocop' , the year is 2029, and the multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is the center of robotic technology. Drones are winning wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the streets. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father and good cop, doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in the city of Detroit. After being seriously injured in the line of duty, Alex has his life saved by OmniCorp's robotic technology.
The film will premiere in Brazil before being released in the United States. Sony Pictures announced that the premiere here was brought forward from February 21, 2014 to January 31, 2014, a week before opening in the United States.
