Is Kale a tribute to Broly or does it have another connection in Dragon Ball Super?
When the anime was announced, no one could have guessed that it would have female Saiyan transformations. After showing the first trailers and releasing the episodes, we were introduced to a small part of Akira Toriyama's hidden universe. In episode 92 we met the stressed “Caulifla” who for the first time a woman became a Super Saiyan in the series, not being satisfied the following episode introduced Kale, the new Saiyan from Universe 6, Caulifla's sister.
Unlike her brother, Kale is shy but hides enormous power.
In the first publicity images, the character resembles the villain Broly presented in 3 films in the saga that does not follow the “main story” line. The character's appearance is angry and out of control when confronted with Goku.
As the tournament of power that brings together the strongest from each universe approaches, Kale will certainly participate, and it remains to be seen whether she will be able to control the new power she has gained.
Still in the episode Frieza joins Goku's team!
Leaving our universe 7 for Earth, Goku had the idea of recruiting Frieza in hell to fill the vacancy that Boo left open. Once there, Goku asks Frieza to join the team and participate in the tournament for 24 hours. Frieza ends up accepting the proposal with one small condition: Universe 7 winning, he asks Goku to revive him with the Dragon Balls, and Goku ends up accepting.
The story of the new saga is created by Akira Toriyama and produced by Toei Animation, which began airing on July 5, 2015. In the timeline, it takes place after the Majin Buu saga and before GT. In Brazil, the series will be dubbed soon.
