During the Super Bowl 2014 event that took place this Sunday, The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Rise of Electro got a new and exciting trailer, almost four minutes long.
This second film will reveal the secrets of Peter Parker's father, and Oscorp will be shown to be the main supplier of villains to New York. Now that young Peter has taken on the mantle of the famous hero, he realizes that the more he fights to defend the city, the more people want to take him down, and the villains end up becoming more and more powerful and deadly.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2, starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, premieres on May 2, 2014. The third and fourth films will premiere in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
