Gou Koga is directing the film at Toei Animation , while Hiroyuki Yoshino is writing the screenplay. Touko Yatabe is designing the characters and also drew the image above.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Kitaro, the last survivor of the Ghost Tribe, and his friends who are part of Japanese mythology. Showing the boy's daily life, we see the appearance of monsters from other cultures and Kitaro's attempts to befriend humans. The Kitarou Tanjou film is part of four major projects commemorating the 100th anniversary of Shigeru Mizuki . The author passed away in 2015 at the age of 93. Another project already revealed is an anime of Akuma - kun .
