Manga artist Namori announced via Twitter that her manga Yuruyuri will receive another anime adaptation, indicating a third season. Fans who follow the manga showed great support, and Namori thanked them and asked them to continue following Yuruyuri.
The manga was launched in Comic Yuri Hime S on June 12, 2008, before being moved to Comic Yuri Hime in September 2010. An anime adaptation created by studio Dogakobo aired in Japan between July and September 2011; the second season of the series aired between July and September 2012.
The series has two seasons; the first aired in 2011. The second season came in 2012 and maintained the same success, closing with over 7,000 copies sold per volume.
Synopsis: Four fun-loving students get together in the Tea Club room to form their own club, the Fun Club.
