Mangaka Namori announced via Twitter that her manga Yuruyuri will have another anime adaptation, indicating a third season. Fans who follow the manga gave great support, Namori thanked them and asked them to continue following Yuruyuri.
The manga launched in Comic Yuri Hime S on June 12, 2008, before being moved to Comic Yuri Hime in September 2010. An anime adaptation created by studio Dogakobo aired in Japan between July and September. 2011; The second season of the series aired between July and September 2012.
The series has two seasons, the first was shown in 2011. The second edition came in 2012 and maintained the same success, closing with more than 7 thousand copies sold/volume.
