The official website for the anime “Nier: Automata” has released a new trailer and promotional image for the second season. Additionally, it was announced that the continuation will be released in two parts (2 Cours).

Synopsis of Nier: Automata:

The narrative of NieR:Automata revolves around the androids 2B, 9S, and A2, who find themselves in a battle to reclaim a dystopian world controlled by machines and infested with powerful mechanical entities. Humanity, in turn, has been banished from Earth by these mechanical beings from another world. In a last-ditch effort to reclaim the planet, the human resistance dispatches a team of android soldiers to annihilate the invaders. Thus, a continuous war between machines and androids unfolds, poised to reveal a long-forgotten truth about the world.

Therefore, the direction is by Ryouji Masuyama (Blend S, Hello WeGo!) at A-1 Pictures studio, CG by Yuusuke Noma, and cinematography by Toshiaki Aoshima. NieR:Automata was released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2017. Furthermore, Square Enix released the game on PC in March 2017 and on Xbox One in June 2018.

Finally, Crunchyroll streams the first season with subtitles and dubbing.
